For last years she has been working in the European Commission for environment, focusing on several consumer product groups in order to make them more sustainable in line with the Circular economy and Plastics Strategy narrative. The big part of work was focused on communication aspects and stakeholder engagement and partnerships with consumer companies, governments and NGOs. She was leading the organisation of two first EU Ecolabel showrooms in Brussels and Paris and delivering presentations and speeches on contribution of the EU Ecolabel to the Circular Economy and sustainability.
Previously she has been working for the Latvian government, representing the country in international environmental negotiations during the rotating Presidency of the Council of the European Union. She is passionate about sustainability, nature protection, creative arts and healthy lifestyle.
